Shrinking Island has been CANCELED?!

Okay, let me explain.

It has been 6 months since the last update and almost a year since this page was published on itch.io. What happened to Shrinking Island?

Well, it's a long story.

So basically, I kind of slacked on development and also postponed development of Shrinking Island in Unity due to errors with my code, Photon Pun not connecting to my C# Scripts correctly and so Unity gives MORE errors, the list goes on. It seems as though the Unity Dev Team did nothing to solve my problem, leaving me in a sticky situation. Because I don't know how to fix my code, and no one can fix the code for me.

I tried Unity's Discord, but it seems as though the users kept pointing out the way I format my code and my comments I put on it and such and didn't focus on my problem. So that didn't help. Also I'm not really recommending the Unity Discord, by the way. The mods are bad and the users do nothing to solve your problems if you're a newbie into coding and you put a BUTT TON of If Statements in your code.

So nothing works.


What made things worse was that I had school, my black Lenovo was password-protected, etc. And so I had no freedom either. Only when my parents would sign in.

You think that's bad enough?! NO! My black Lenovo broke! It's stuck on a black screen! It has been one month since that happened, and I can't find a PC dealer who can fix my laptop. The small shops that fix PCs call themselves PC Dealers for some reason. I don't know why.


The only way I can actually share this is via my Silver Hewlett Packard.
